Anyone ever indexed their plug on their 250r?

If so which direction tested best, and what gain did you see?

Indexing a plug doesn't do much on a 2-stroke, I tried it on my 800 open mod snowmobile with no gain.

I am looking into plug indexing, among other things…. Basically free stuff that doesn’t take too much time. I have come to understand that indexing will not really work when the plug is in the center of the combustion chamber, but there are other things that can be done… Trimming back the electrode, drilling a hole in it (bottom links), and rounding the electrode. Also noted the mention of measuring how far down into the chamber the electrode sits, and finding a plug that places the electrode in dead center…

Yep, I am bored, late at night. I figure it is something else to learn though…. May as well know everything… J

Makes me rethink using those iridium's plugs, after reading the 3rd link. Use of the fine wire plug's should really benefit any of us that still use stock "weak" ignition's. good read
