Mugen 250R History & Stories?

Anyone have any info? I am curious about them.... Mugen has always been a tuner close to Honda with a very good reputation.

Are they easily found? Worth anything?

Not easily found, worth a lot of money... well maybe not anymore, but back in like 2003, I remember one going for like $2000 on ebay. They're very rare and brought home bank back in the day.

I heard of one of these cylinders selling for $3000 just recently. They are more of a collectors item than anything. It's my understanding that the PRO-X cylinders where actually designed after them.
