Hey all I am very new to the atv world and have a problem. I have a 97 300Ex and I need to replace the rear bearings. The bearing on the left side is completely shot. Anyway How do I get into the assembly? Is there a write up on this. I am not sure on how to do this, a break away picture would be handy too. Also are these axles one piece or two? Basically I do not know how to even start pulling this apart. Thanks in advanced and go ahead and make fun of the newby!!

it will be similar to doing the 400

this one is for the 400 but it is all about the same. take off the the lock nut, and right hub, slide out the axle, take out the carrier, pound out the bearings, pound in new ones and do the rest opposite. lol. you should be able to tackle it, a couple of hours and you will be set. steve

link to a downloadable 300ex service manual. 400ex is similiar though.
