have the valves redone and go with an aftermarket valve, as far as why
do you run on the limiter alot it will shorter the life of the valve. What shim are you on now?

if you run that machine wide open alot then it will cause that. Those stock valves are good, but i would go aftermarket. I had an 03 Preddy, and i put in an HPD 558 kit and there valves and springs, with there cams. I have never had a problem!! I could run that thing wide open all day, and it never gave me problems.

yeah its only the intake valves that will give you trouble for whatever reason.
