thats cool sheet there scuzz. i/we finally made a trip out to sand hill a couple weekends ago. very nice place but there was no action like that when we were there.

Those paddle's are 1 7/8" and only the second set Skat Trak has ever made like that.

two weekends ago is the first REAL ride that i've been on this year besides behind the house. been too busy between my 9-5 job and working on quads in the shop. i'm wanting to go back to sand hill soon. got me some new haulers i wanna try out.

8 - he's also got a set of Haulers that have 10 paddles. He said he almost has to gear down for these, he's just worried about losing top end.

Also, I head out there nearly every weekend (it's like 30 minutes away) if anyone wants to take a ride, just let me know!

me too... i've never had good luck with this at all... and a nice wreck that landed me chest deep in water on a nice day, o yes the temp was somewhere in the mid teens that day... and i've pretty much stayed away from water since...

Most of the time water skimmers have a smooth entry to the water. I've never seen anyone jump and then water skim.

just like to say that we had a awesum trip saturday. atv fan 28, a couple of buddies of mine and myself were fortunate enough to see danny skim first hand. he even performed a "first time" double head. my hats off to him. :cool: glad yall got to make it out scuzz. good to meet you guys. :)

Dang thats pretty cool and pretty far too!!!
The good thing is the only thing that would be bad or hard of sinking it would be getting it to shore other than that drain the airbox,take sparkplug out and let it turn over and dry the plug,and mayb change oil later and good to go again(yes i speak from experience).

WOW that is sweet man. I would not be caught doing that for that kind of distance. I have done about 15 ft where the ice was open, that is about it. i wouldnt do any more than that. steve

ive done 45-50ft(mud tires) after going over bars 4 times ,need full throttle/5th gear ,took me many times to get the right speed.wish i had pond like that to skim.thanks for the cool vid SCUZZ ! remeber locked arms /topgear / excellarating into water ,*** all the way back and youll be fine even on the 700x.

scuzz , what are you talking about ?after hitting water your 4-5 gears are not working? or 4-5gear the speed not working? if its the gears not working sounds like your clutch got burned up or water in your case?

5th gear is totally stripped out. You go into 5th and you don't go any longer and it sticks in the gear.
