I think I'm going to add one to my mini tornado vane, along with a spal fan on the intake lid, and another spal sucking the exhaust out of the muffler.
But first I'm going to remove the headlights, and put two spals there and a shop vac hose to the intake, with a propane injector for a Ram air setup.

Oh yeah, and the fuel line magnets to break up the fuel molecules :huh

I guess it's going to mean another trip to the Dyno Shop. :devil:

Hey ron, you think you do some more very detailed dyno runs with that beast. edit just noticed after making this that you beat me to the dyno stuff. lol i think that there is a major increase to be had LOL :p maybe if we put a couple of holes in it to help to make it flow into the middle and make a circulation point like the back of a truck. it would like running with the tail gate up on the truck making it get better milage by making a low pressure area in the bed. it could make a low pressure spot in the middle to draw more air through faster with holes in it. but this is a whole other topic all together lol. lol. lol. :eek2: steve

lol.....back to the topic. Those "air foil" inserts have been proven to not gain any power on the dyno. I had one on the old pred carb and thought it felt snappier but it didnt feel any more powerful.

My 400 was used to make the proto for that. I live near Boysen. and Cris Wild from R&D was helping me tune my jetting when he asked if he could use my quad to make the Proto. quad was dyno'd before and after and not a gain that would make panties wet but, in the trails you can tell a difference in bottom end. a little snappier.
