Well, I am going to apologize right off the bat that this question is actually about the Kawi 450F dirtbike. I am posting this for a friend and I don't belong to any dirtbike forums.
Anyway, the bike is pretty new, I would say 05 or newer. It is in great shape, ran strong until the about a month ago.
We were riding for maybe an hour and all the sudden the bike just died. No power loss, no noises (valve ticking, knock, or rattle.) Just simply died.
Now it won't even fire like it is trying to start. Feels as if it has plenty of compression, all fluids were good, spark plug was good and there was plenty of spark.
Could this be an ignition problem or something? I am not the most educated person on 4 strokes but this doesn't add up to me.
Spark, air, fuel, and compression.....should run or at least fire.....
