can anybody help me with these problems?

2t = t - 4
_
3




10 = 3x - 8
_
5

wow this is easy stuff...

2t = 3(t-4)

2t = 3t - 12

3t-2t = 12

t = 12

plug it back into each side an check it...


2 * 12 / 3 = 8

12 - 4 = 8


checks out your done...

Do the other one...

Just follow what Tommy 17 said:

Multiply the first problem by 3 to get rid of the fraction on the left, same with the 5 in the second problem. Then just solve for t and x.

Thanks Tommy 17. That really helped. I did the second problem and i got it right.
