Ok, here is the deal. Girlfriends 98 warrior 350 has had a starting problem. First it just would not start. Slow cranking that would pop from time to time. I found the fuel filter was backwards, now it does start but still has the slow crank issue.
I pulled the starter off, checked the brushes and armature, and found them in great shape. Battery is good, fully charged.
Anything you guys recommend to check? I have a parts 350 in the backyard, thinkin of pulling off the left case cover and see if there is anything that would help me fix this.

im not the smartest but is the wiring messing up from the battery to the starter causing it to loose power?

I do not know. Never messed around with a warrior. I will look into it. Don't these quads have a starter clutch?

yes warriors have a starter clutch that tends to go out.. I had a 2000 model warrior for a while and it cranked slow and was hard to start until i rebuilt the starter. It fired right up and cranked faster after that. I think i got the rebuild kit off ebay for like 35 bucks. you might check it out
