Looking For Places To Ride In Sw Pa

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY "LEGAL" PLACES TO RIDE QUADS IN SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA? TRACKS, TRAILS OR WHATEVER! I DON'T KNOW ANYWHERE TO RIDE....I DON"T WANT TO TRESSPASS ON ANYONE'S LAND.

hows the philadelphia (sp?) area or the Harrisburg area. i know of Flying Dutchmen MX, Rausch Creek MX & XC. there are more. go to the ATVA website http://www.atvonline.com and do a search on tracks in PA. they are usually only racing areas but there is more to the site.

There is a place called Bayview ORV area at the end of rt 305. It's free, it's not huge, but it's decent. It's right on the end of Shenango Lake.

there's a place near east liverpool called yellow creek. it's a state park and everybody from all over ohio and pa go there. the last time i was there i seen nothing but r's and cannondales, plus so ds650's. but i seen alot of other's to. i felt like a small fry on my 300. there's alot of hills, pipelines, and trails to ride and a plus side there's never any rangers or anything there so no stickers needed:) trust me it's alot of fun

You also got Iron Valley in near Marion Center Pa. It's near Indiana.:devil

iron valley is sweet but very dangerous... when i rode there it was very tight track in places...

it will be my primary riding spot this year to practice... its only 25 mins away:devil

My one friend is friends with the owner. He practices all the time, I think he even rode it last weekend. Maybe I can sneek in with him:devil

I'm not sure when it opens for practice. I'll try to get some info from my friend. I asked him a while ago and he didn't know yet. I'll keep asking till I get an answer and tell you guys when I find out.:devil

Not friends with the owner, but my friend is. I don't think I can get free passes:p But maybe he can:devil But seriously I don't think I can because he told me that on set practice days and races he even has to pay to get in.

Try Hopp's Switchback Raceway on RT. 8 about 8 miles north of Butler, Pa- They run MX, SX, and XC races, and they are fairly close to you. www.hoppsswitchback.com
Also, the Westmoreland county fairgrounds holds Arenacross races most Friday nights April till August. For info contact Bud at Cerini Harley or check the fairground's site.:cool:

Thanks for the info. guys! Some of these places are a little too far, but I'll check them out. I've been to Switchback, but it takes me almost an hour and a half to get there. That's a little too far for a couple hours of riding.

nuts is a relative term!!!!ask my relatives , they will tell you i`m nuts!!! but there is no substitute for an adrenaline rush!!!!! i become unbearable if i do not get my fix!! besides it was not that cold. and some places the snow was lower than the top of my tires! and it was 12 degrees when i went out to ride that day!!

I went ridin sunday it was 17 but the wind was terrible. I about froze:D
