Good PS3 games?

So my mom and dad come home today with a 60" TV and a PS3.. I never really thought about getting a PS3 but now that we have one what are some good games?

I loved battlefield 2 on computer. How is Bad company?

I like war games and car games.

dirt 1 and grid are two fantastic games if you like racing games...havent played dirt 2 but i imagine its just as good...

Since you got COD5 which is the best game out (imo) You should get all the map packs.

Hold off on COD World at War. Modern Warfare 2 comes out in a month and a half. I owned W@W from the release date and while it was fun the hackers and glitchers have made it awful.

what i dont understand is why doesnt COD producers put a stop to the glitching by fixing the glitches when people find them. they just leave them. and dont get me wrong i enjoy glitching but i can live without.

COD4 is better than COD W@W unless your playing Search and Destroy

the spawning on COD W@W is all wacked out, i get capped in the back by dudes all the time that have spawned with me infront of them

i'd check out COD4 by infinity ward, they do a much better job then treyarch

call of duty modern warfare 2 will be the best FPS game ever when it comes out this fall

another i'd recommend is assassins creed, that game is the $H!T too

That's the understatement of the year right there.

Pure is fun for a little bit, I wish it was 2 player. It's a game to rent though, not to own.

Killzone 2 is a great FPS. I wish it was 2 player also like the original.
Resistance: Fall of Man is a good one too. I haven't played the second one.

Mirrors Edge is a fun and very different kind of game. If you have a wireless internet connection I would download demos of games you are thinking about buying.
