parts interchangeable on 300ex?

Is the fuel tank on the 93 ex identical to the 98? In other words will one fit the other? Thanks ahead of time

Both 93 and 98 tank's are showing to have the same P/N through Honda. So yes they take the same tank. I really do not know of anything that has changed on the 300's through the years except for the color's and the graphics.

Thanks alot. I'm debating on whether I should go the plastic route so I never have to worry about rust again or get a direct metal replacement? Any thoughts?

If it were me I would probably go the plastic route, depending on the price of course. I have had the original tank on my 300 since 1999 and have never had any problems with rust or anything. For me it would just come down to price.

All years of 300ex's haven't changed since they changed the way u put it in resverse. only plastics and graphics. oh yea the snorkel that hooks into the intake boot is different and the breather hose is different but that doesn't matter. it all works
