250r Brakes??? On a 400ex

My friend is partin out his 250r and he said he would trade me just the rear caliper and mounting for mine and just sell my stock parts. Do you think its worth it? Thanks

yes it works great, the main reason i did it was for ground clearance.its woeth it.

as long as his stuff works. Trade it! cause you steeling it from him. 250r brakes are much better. they are double piton for greater stoping power and the disc is alot smaller for greater ground clearence. The only downside is the brake disc hub is steel not aluminium.
