Does anyone have any info on whats need to install a gt thunder xc linkage? I am talking about like the spacer for the airbox. does anyone sell a spacer kit for it like they do the 450's? What about the subframe mods? anyone have pics of their modded subframe?

I haven't seen a straight forward and simple answer to this question. You would think with all the members with this link you would of got an answer by now. Or maybe GT Thunder would of told us on their website.

1. How do you space the muffler?

2.How do you modify the subframe?

3. How do you raise the airbox.?

Are these the questions you want answered?

i found a 1" aluminum spacer laying around that i used to space my muffler out with. i made a 1/4" spacer for my airbox, it can't be lifted any higher than 1/4" because it gets in the way of the seat latch. I haven't had to modify my subframe, my sprocket doesn't hit it that much.

Yes those are the questions. So 1/4" is is all the airbox gets moved. Im toying with the idea of doing the link. I just trail ride for fun and to get around my acreage mainly. I like the idea of being a tad lower with a smoother ride though.

yea that's all it'll move, and i had to remove a bolt from my seat latch. the link is a huge improvement over the stocker. i haven't had my rear shock valved for the link and it does fine, but i'm only 125lbs.
