wanted +2 or +3 brake lines for 250r or 400ex

I have some used ones for sale, They are +2 but could EASILY fit +3. They have worn parts on them where the metal fraied (sp?) up and I put electrical tap (duct tape would have been better) on them. They work perfect though! There not bad looking at all except for the worn spots (was form when I bout the quad the guy bought +2 lines with stock arms and 4:1 wheels, so the lines rubbed on the moving wheels, makeing the metal un braid).

I have, I think it's a plus-2. Steelbraided rear brake line. All I know is that I have a stock swing arm and it is to long for it by a couple of inches. If you want I can send pics. It's still on my 250R.

88-89 swingarm is one inch shorter then the 86-87. im not positive if there the same excact lenth... but i would say the 88-89 would also be one inch shorter to fit perfectly..... :confused:

I just never though honda made their lines an inch shorter to look nicer on the later models. I'll just keep my steel braided 86 line on my new 88 chassis set-up, it shouldnt be bad

somthing yamaha would skimp out on... honda prob did it right (1inch shorter) to make it fit pefect...

ahhh a classic. I cant recall anytime mine didnt run, maybe it would have ran better if it was ported and polished and 60 over with new gaskets in my carb...did u ever beat me cause it wasnt running...mine breaks cause i ride hard, my hands dont get cold like urs...
