So I bought a used caliper and it leaks around the emergency brake block off plate.

Anyone know a 'fix' for this?

is has a block off plate on it all ready or just the stock set up?

Because mine leaked there too but when i got a block off plate it stopped, plus i put silicone on it when going back together.

The caliper already has a LSR block off plate.

There is a small o ring in the caliper that seals the shaft that operates the parking brake. You need to pull the caliper apart and replace the o ring. I would bet you need to replace the o rings for the caliper pistons, dust seals and pistons as well.

I'm 99.9% you are right about that small o-ring .... I had the caliper apart and cleaned all the dust seals and the pistons - they are fine.

The o-ring 'came out' with the piston - now I don't know 'how' to properly put it back in ... help!

Yup - got that lil sneaky o-ring in there and it's holding fluid.

Sounds like you got lucky, I've seen 250R calipers deteriorate in that o-ring groove, and not seal up again, even with a new o-ring.
