Thanks...a few guys at the track said it sounded like it was loading up on the top end, which I assume tyhe main jet in the carb may be too big?

Nice!

I see they are not running down over the hill this year on the small track, must be due to the wonderful neighbors that built houses near a MX track that has been there for years and now are complaining to the town about the dust and noise........what did they think happens at an mx track??

Headed there this weekend for the NEATV race but it will be on the big track for all classes. You should definately be there! 1st motos for the 50 - 90 classes will be on Saturday afternoon/early evening.

What carb are you running? It could be main jet and needle. Pilot runs 0-1/4 throttle 1/4-3/4 is main and wot which is wide open throttle is ran by your needle Have you done a plug reading? What color if so?? Try for a cinnamon color.

You hit the nail on the head...firs time he raced on the small track...usually races on the big track...not sure why they changed it this weekend?
Not sure if he will race NEATV but we will be there to check out the pro's on Sunday...

did I see he has stock shocks and pipe??

If he is basically a stock 90 then he can run the 90 limited which is stock quads.

Usually there are only 3-6 kids in that class. come on out, he will have a blast. Probably some of the kids he raced against will race too.

He has Elkas and OI removed so I guess he would have to run 90 modified and junior mini right?

Neatv classes are

90 limited 8 to 15 - internal mods only, basically no shocks and no pipe or aftermarket electronics. O/I can be unhooked

90 jr is 8-11 90 2stroke or 125 4 stroke - production frame and motor - shocks pipes and all other mods, no cobras

90 Sr is 12 to 15 same rules as jr

90 mod

He raced a 2008 z90...we have only raced at Walden because we were familiar with the track, and it is not too far to travel...figured I would let him try it and see if he likes it...from there we will look around for other places to race next year

WOW, looks like he got faster and faster as the video progressed. Looks like the racing BUG has bitten you both. Get your checkbook or credit card ready! LOL
