does anyone know if this carb is suitable for the 250R?
from what ive read it seems to be an updated version of PWK??

its like an updated PJ. they do work o.k. on 250Rs if the price is right though. they have a idle/choke knob like the PJ but a D shaped slide.

some people feal that is a better way to do idle adjustment. as apposed to the plastic screw that holds the slide open on the PWK. i leave the slide all the way closed on the PWK's that way if the quad throughs you and your thumb comes off the throttle, the engine will die.

to each there own, i wont say one system is always better every time.

I have a pwm38 on my esr310. i have used pj and pwk carbs. the jetting seemed to be a lot leaner in comparison. The powerband seemed a little narrower but hit real hard and crisp. Once i got it tuned, i felt no need to change to another carb

i've always wanted to try one of these. it's interesting to know that it has the D-slide in conjunction with the pj choke assembly.
