u can run premium pump gas, get a hotcams stage I if you want all bottom end, or a hotcams stageII if you want mid-top power. i suggest stage II since you have 11:1 comp. the higher comp will give u a lot of bottom end.

In most cases, an 11:1 piston in a 400ex will accept 93 octane without predetonation. You'll just have to try it and see.

You don't have to run an aftermarket cam but if you do, your engine will generate more midrange and top end power.

White Brothers All Around cam and Hotcams Stage I will concentrate the powerband in the low to midrange.

Most other cams will increase power in the mid to upper rpm ranges.

Run a search on this site for "cams" to learn more.

wicked! yea. pump gas would be fine but if you want you can throw in some 104 octane boost. i use it and it works fine!

Moto-man.com has a hotcams for $125 and so does C&D Racing. But with C&D we get the 10% off, try C&D. i'll be gettin a 416 with a J.E. 11:1 with hotcams stage II in March. i'm gonna get it from C&D.

926 is just the number on the cam it's a gncc cam so it's for xc riding/racing it's a regrind cam so it's not totally new correct me if i'm wrong somebody
