i was always kinda looking into getting a pit bike to mess around on, a guy offered me a 2007 klx 110 with full suspension and exhaust and some other stuff. he said he has 2000 into it after he bought it. he said he'd take $1,500 at the lowest.

i was wondering if they're really as much fun as everyone says they are and is that a good deal? i know nothing about pit bikes.

i'd still keep my yz250f...

pitbikes are probably the most fun ive had off road, but if your buddies dont have them there there sort of lame, get 3 or 4 of your buddies to get them and just set tracks up anywhere, through the woods, even a circle and banging bars is so much fun:p plus there CHEAP, get a cradle frame mount and there close to indestructible.

Very true!

plus there CHEAP,

I have to disagree on that one. For 1500 you could pick up an older big bike and it would probably end up costing you less in the long run.

i guess, MUCH cheaper than racing quads though haha, and rarely do i come home with a broken 110 from a good day at the track.

none of my friends have them but a lot of them want ones and are probably going to get one.

i kinda want this bike now, does that seem like a good deal? it has bbr suspension, pro circuit t4 pipeand some motor work and new tires. and its an 07 klx 110, thats about all i know about it.

BBR suspension could be alot of things, could just be stiffer springs, or a full blown E-6/ Big bike style swing arm with an elka, 1500 is a decent deal for the bike with stiffer springs, the other set up would be a STEAL.

But dont think you need BBR suspension, stiffer springs are what most people run.

I weigh in at like 270 and i have stiffer springs up front and a works rear shock on the back with a stock swing arm, i love it

ok idk he just said he has 2000 into it after purchase, i said whats done to it he said full BBR suspension, pro circuit pipe, some motor work, and tires. how much would pipe motor work and tires be? maybe 800 depending on whats done to the motor. that leaves 1200 for the suspension?? idk, i've kinda been looking at brand new pitster pros at a local honda dealership after talking to some people i know that have pit bikes.

They're fun for sure, but holy hell I've watched my friends sink $4,000+ into them. haha I do like them though, but I tend to get carried away on them as well...

Here's some of the local pro racer's. Jesse you may know them... and to think you and I are smacking that step up 4th cranked on our 250's!!!!
