ok hello to all! my family and i are trying to make one last trip to silverlake sand dunes this year... last trip we made i brot my 416ex while my cousins brot ther kfx 450 and kfx 400.... both of their quad had paddles on them meanwhille my quad had razzrs on it because i bought 1 weeks before that trip..... so i need some help on wich tire to use/get for the REAR tires... i DO NOT like what my cousing tires loook liek... the look like a balloon on a rim! exactly like this....

what i like paddles to look like is this...

(they are more flat and lower profile...)

so iff you guys could please help me outhere!!! i neeed some help on wich size tires i need? wich dimensions will give me the more flat look that i like and not the ballooned look of my cousins??? and please dont say a smaller tire or a bigger tire because i dont know what the messurments for a tire mean/stand for...ex: 12x9x8... like i dont know what those numbers stand for and wich number is wich dimension ( so could you tell me please :) )... someone also told me to stay at about 7-8 paddles per tire no more no less true or false...and on more question... what pattern should i get? a "v" shape like the sandstars...

or a staight across pattern like the sand devil...

whats the diffference in preformance with either pattern of tire???

once agian all your help would be much apreciated! just trying to get whats best to keep up better with the kfx's in the sand.. oh and sorry for the some-what longer post :)

v -shaped is the way to go and the "balloon" look will get you more traction and a better ride.
