just a pro-tip here, if you want to make an engine bay look "showroom clean", spray a TON of purple power all through the engine bay and the underside of the hood. Let it sit for a minute or two, then spray it off with a pressure washer. Then take some tire shine(I use Advanced autoparts brand) and spray it all through the engine bay and let it dry.

had the same exact blazer, 98 even. keep money aside for ball joints, brakes, and some electrical nightmares. i loved mine for the first few months then all hell broke loose. mine only had 90k on it when i sold it.

Yea, I detail cars for a couple dealers, some used and some new. If you only knew how some of these used cars look when they come in, you would be real wary of them.

what all went out electrical wise?

for some reason on the switch that activates the rear wiper its missing an entire connection that lets it spray wiper fluid, the hatch pop and wiper work just no fluid

also im pretty sure the 4x4 switch needs replaced, it doesnt light up and pretty sure its not getting it into 4 wheel drive

:( dont ruin it

looks like its in really good shape. please dont do those though. IDK about on the Blazer but the throttle body spacer on a lot of cars was proven to be a waste. dont lift the body please dont :( i hate to see you ruin something in good condition. Sony speakers are alright, dont get them from walmart go on crutchfield if anything.

just random sensors, but my 4wd went out and it was the electrical switch on the transfer case that caused it. also the heat blower would not send heat to the floor, so in the winter my feet would freeze, said it was a common issue with a damper in the dash, that was labor intensive to get to..

trust me i wont ruin it, ive talked to many blazer owners who did the TBS and the intake and made well over 12 hp and about a 4-5 mpg increase as well

2 inch body lift is cheap, suspension lifts cost too damn much

and i swear by sony, i do get their top of the line stuff the GTX series

you cant sit there and say that wouldnt look bad *** with a lift and 20" black rims with toyo open country m/t tires on it:devil:

open your door and stick your head down to listen underneath, see if you hear something engaging when you move the dial..
