My brother in law told me about a friend that has fallen on hard times and needs to sell a 2001 Yamaha Grizzley....Green. It only has 100 hours or 100 miles on it, regardless it's not alot. Asking price......$4500. Am I smoking or is that a steal?? A new one goes for like 7g's right? Think I'm gonna have to go for it!!:devil

Hmmm, Maybe. I guess. I sold a 02' 650 Prairie last year for $5000 and some change.
With all the new quads coming out, used ones are steals...

Thats a pretty good deal, but the '01 grizzly and '02 up grizzlies are a lot different. The '01 is air cooled, has a straight axle rear, no locker in the front, low tech motor, etc... The '02 up have liquid cooling, rear independant suspension, a 5 valve 660 monster of a motor, aluminum wheels, digital information center, locker in front end, triple disk brakes. Not trying the bash the older grizzlies, but the new model is far advanced and improved. Just my 2 cents.
