We have been watching the factory announcements and reading rumors....

But whats YOUR plan for 2010?

Here is our tentative plans....

Cody will train non stop over the winter on his quad and bike.
We will race locally and regionals on the bike (XC)

Hopefully and God willing, he stays injury free and can compete on both at the GNCC's. Thats his goal anyway:p I see him running the bike and using the quad for seat time, articles/reviews etc but we will see what support comes to help him.

Switching to bikes. Right now I'm on the search for a new yz125. Its a bit harder than I thought it was going to be to find a dealer with one instock.

Well, start with all these big intentions of getting in awesome shape and all that, but probably about like this year. Race my local series and the nationals when I have the money. Building a house will string me out here and there, but that's part of it. :p

1) Maybe ride my quad more than 3 times like I did in 09..... Theres still more time left.

2) Renew my ATVA (Expired in Feb) do that math. That means I havent raced in over a year.... I went from 25 races a year to 0.

3) Buy a trans-am.

4) Get my GPA up over 3.3 hopefully.

I'm actually going to give racing a try for the first time. I've always been a recreational rider and I've decided try racing next season.

A friend is doing it with me so we can help each other out and help motivate each other.

The plan is to continue working out and building up my cardio/endurance/strength. And then I'm going to go to several of the TQRA races and see how it goes. If things go well I may even try to do the full TQRA season in 2011.

I am opening my own insurance agency next month so i'm sure i will spend most of next year building up an agency that will help support me and my family. I don't see much racing in my future for 2010 but I should be back after that.

Racing is like a bad crack habit that you just can't let go of.

2. scope out some good riding spots in your travels. :D

---------------

as for my 2010..
my daughter is off to college.(the years flew by.. hate to stop and ponder.. :( )
my son is into sports and becoming quite hefty, with a giant appetite.(but i can still bench more and climb a rope faster.. for now..) his consumption of funds feels about as expensive as my daughters schooling at times.

so ill be tight with the ca$h mostly, but i still want to find 5 to 10 acres out of city limits to buy.(planning for the years to come)

I was staying in jalabad for a while but I was all over the place man! What fob u kickin it at? What u doin man? Heat is something else there huh! Makes texas feel like nothing!

I pretty much lived off from red rip it's! U at some **** hole or u in the garrison?

I don't know if ur on fob or if ur one of the few that get up on the gun nail some more of those ***gots for me!

Keep the rubber side down man terrain is pretty nasty there I've seen a bunch of noobs roll those half million peice of equipment over cuz they don't know how to romp around offroad! I did a lot of vic recovery!

yeah dude, korangal is no joke your right by where I was at we were in the pesch river valley which is almost as hot as the korangal!

Your going to one of the most dangerous areas in the most dangerous country in the world! Your gonna see sf dudes romping around, off roading in half million dollar pieces of up armored monster trucks!

I'm hope ur pumped ur pry gonna have the oppurtunity to burn some more of those horrible excuses for human beings!

We worked around 173'rd those dudes are ****in wild! They did not give a **** about garrison is all they cared about was ****ing the enemy up! Hands down most badass unit i've ever been around around! They pulled 15 months of insane hours/heat/ and constant firefights! Those dudes were freeking nuorotic pshycopaths at 14 months!

I got some pretty narly photos of wanat which is one of the bases that about got over ran at the end of the the deployment! definitely can't post those up on here! Couple of buddies got shot/ injured out at wanat! That is intense man a lot of the bases are pretty built up now when it comes to showers and food but man its gonna be a adventure! I had so much fun mobbing around in that 3rd world ****hole jamming to metal in the turrent yelling at hodgie ****s and busting windshields with rocks whenever those ***gots piss me off or get to close!

I got in trouble so many times for firing warning shots w the .50!

We were a engineer unit and built up a lot of those ****hole outposts! i'm sending u a pm about some more stuff that might come in handy offline of course!

So heres a photo of some 19 yr old kid during the aftermath of wanat posing next to a "sleeping" hodgie! I cropped the face for the kiddos!

Some of these kids are doin some pretty nutty stuff! 100lbs of gear constantly, tons of rules, insane heat, no days off, problems at home and bullets whizzing past their faces and measly private pay checks w/ their family blowing there money at home! You can let it all hang out and waste a a hodgie one day and dodge a **** load of rounds and they get a week of corrective training for not wearing a acu coat to the bathroom by some ***got *** fobbit!
