I just got my bottom end gasket but I'm still waiting on a new bolt for the clutch. Does anyone think I can run the quad with just the four bolts in or is that going to totally screw with the clutch?

Well I finally got my timing chain replaced and reset the timing, but I've got to wait on a new bottom side gasket before I can fire it up.

I also managed to do this. Would one of those easy outs work or anyone have any other ideas?

Oh and the clutch cable seems to be 1/4 inch too short now and it doesn't want to extend anymore so I can hook it back up. Did I install something wrong or is there another problem?

Yeah, my roommate said that's what I get for having Alum studs in a steel housing, I just laughed and told him it was actually an aluminum housing.

It could very well be the pinion seems how I didn't keep very good track of how it was when I took it out. Any suggestions on getting it back to right?

Anyone know how much damage would be caused if I ran with a missing clutch bolt? The dealer can't order another one for a few weeks.

i would be willing to guess that since the clutch won't be engaging and disengaging evenly, and with the same amount of pressure, you'll burn up your fibers.

Okay, I was thinking something like that'd probably happen. Thanks, I ordered a new bolt from a dealer in Wisconsin and am hoping to have it by Friday
