I am considering a complete teardown this winter to get some PC done. how hard is it to strip it down to the frame? im just not too confident on how well ill be able to put the motor/electrical parts back together.

Just get a paper copy of the manual and it can tell you almost everything. Also label all your bolts and baggy them up or sort them in some manner. After a couple tear downs you will no your machine off by heart! You may also catch some future problems before they happen and can do some preventative maintenance.

Maybe have a friend that's done it before help you on your first time. But the main thing is make sure that you don't string the job out. Tear it down, then put it back together. Also, you will need some metric taps and dies for when you get your frame back, or you will be very frustrated trying to put the bolts back in.

you wont need the taps and dies if you have Pappy do the PC. Hes done two of my frames and both have come back with not one problem. All my bolts go right in. He puts stuff in the holes to prevent this problem.

Other than that. Just use lots of plastic bags and individualize each part of the quad. Makes for easier and snappier re-assembly.

Yeah the radiator should only have i think two bolts. Then it just sits in those rubber grommets.
