`05 400ex value?

a guy is wanting to trade me an `05 400ex for my `98 vtr1000 superhawk that ive been asking $2500 for is this a good trade/

In Portland, $2500 is about the average you'll get for an '05 (if not actually on the high side). I'm actually considering selling one of my 400's, and would be asking 3k for it, but would take $2500 happily.

Im actually only selling so i can afford a raptor 250 for my son. If its inreal good condition like the guy says it is even if i couldnt sell it i might find some one that would trade me a raptor for it. What are used raptors going for now anyone no ill probably throw this Qu. into the raptor forum too.

Just traded for the 400ex its in pristine shape still has tits on the original tires guy says it only has about 10 hours or less on it I see nothing on it that tells me otherwise.
