01 Polaris sportsman 500 wont shut off...

I have an 01 sportsman 500...on a recent ride, i went to turn it off, but no go. Neither the key or the kill switch will shut it off. I have heard that it may be the ground wire off the CDI box...any ideas...? I also looked for the CDI box and cant locate it. I am told it is under the fender. found the voltage regulator, but not the CDI.... HELP.........

theres a black wire that goes into three wires unplug them then it will stop running 1 wire goes to kill switch other ithink to speedo up the wires back in then unplug speedo then if it shuts off will the kill switch its the speedo if it still wont shut off then try unpluging speedo then if it dont shut off its the killswitch
let me know what happens i have a good kill switch off a 2001 400 sportsman we can work a deal if thats the problem

sorry i forgot to tell u the 4 black wire are onder the front hoodunder the handdle bars there was a quick conect on mine and my cdi box is mounted right there on also dont even mess with it yet
