HMF hands down

I dont know about being a hands down favorite but both are very good exhausts and will give very similar if not near identical increases. There are alot of folks on this site that run HMF and most are blinded by there own seemingly good decision.

ive had both pipes and like matt said they are pretty much the same power wise. id get the hmf tho cause you can get the canister any color to match the quad.

why the ironman though? for looks?, just curious.....what kind of riding do you do? I have the ballance which is supposed to be geared more towards low end, ironman more towards top end and the sport is in the middle.

I thought it was the other way around, the ironman was the bottom to mid and the bill balance was top?

no...in fact the BB has a torque range modifier to curve the power more towards the bottom

from the HMF website

"The sport series will produce broad smooth power across the entire RPM range. It performs great in every different riding situation.
The Ironman will give you more top end power using a larger than normal core. This pipe is great for MX and other situations where high RPM power is a must.
The Ballance makes gobs of bottom and mid range torque which shines in the tight trails and woods courses. Click here for the 450R dyno charts.
