400ex jetting

i'm getting my 400ex jetted and i dunno what jet kit to by. i'm going with the fmf or dynojet. anyone have a preference on which is better or what will bring the most horsepower from the jetting? thanks steve

First off dont waste your money on a jet kit just buy some Keihn jets either from a dealer or Jets R us. Second dont buy into the b/s that dynojet says by gaining HP by getting a jet kit. While it is technically right that you gain HP because when jetted properly your engine runs at its peak performance but its not because of the kit. Its because the carb is tuned properly. If you read the stickys on the top of the main page it will pretty much guide you in the right direction if tell you what you will need exactly.

dont buy a kit, kits dont add HP more fuel and air do. If your adding more air, fuel amount is fuel amount. It doesnt know what brand jets your bought. Get Keihin because its cheaper and its like factory.
