Breezewood Proving Grounds-Track Changes

Dan has been waiting in anticipation of switching the direction on the Advanced track. That change started today!

One of the first jumps to recieve attention was the infamous Ski jump.

Derek Guetter wasted no time in hitting it and it did not appear to be what Dan was looking for.

Dan stated..."That is the gayest jump i've ever built":eek:

so he's switching the direction of the entire track? That's going to be really interesting.

Jon and Derek hit it with no problem and then the pair of high flyin freestyle riders told Dan what it needed was to be turned into a 90 foot triple:p

They chatted and the spot for the new take off was located and it will be in place in the coming days. The new jump will feature you a choice of hitting it as a fun double or airing it out to make it a huge uphill triple!

The run up is pretty nutz.....Derek made a few hits in 5th tapped just to see how bad it would be:eek2:

Once the triple is in place it should be one fun jump!!

The landing is safe, and allows for one to come up short and still have no problems

i'm pretty sure i read somewhere it'll be open this weekend. but the track will never be "done" lol dans changing things up every weekend.

Track is coming along great. It will definately be done and open this Saturday Morning !!! Anyone here Friday will get a chance to ride it for a little while.

I started with the ski jump yesterday then worked on the old uphill, making it a down hill. Then did the bleacher jump and the dining hall jump. Today I did the step up before the dining hall jump and the water jump and the option line next to it. I also did the flag jump today. Tomorrow I'll work on the step down before the flag jump and then the connector water jump.

I still have some other changes, like turning the new uphill jump into a tripple, and I still need to work on the option line next to it.

Things are looking awesome, come check it out and post pics!!!! I'm not posting any, you gotta come out to see it !

All the idea's sound great. I'll definately work on putting in a technical rhythm section somewhere over the next couple weeks. Right now everyone's gonna have their hands full dialing in all the new jumps.

hey dan. me and a few members from this site will ne up there oct 16th for a weekend of fun. cant wait to check out the new layout. tracks were always off the hook. now gonna straight be gnarly. love the big track. dont get me wrong, inter track is dope, but nothing beats the monster jumps of the big track.

are there any plans to change up the inter track?

Track is done !! I even added a cool rhythm section next to the uphill ski jump. The ski jump is now a 100 foot uphill tripple. and the rhythm section next to it has 3 doubles and a table top.

I like technical tracks as well but that isn't mx, that is sx. btw i am better at technical tracks to, but wish they would simplify tracks to be safer. It just makes the racing side of things better imo.

well a buddy and I went to bwood today to check it out, it was great. tracks were in great shape. new layout is fun dan! I love the uphill section beside the triple, kinda crazy hitting the flag jump as a downhill now. all in all a good day though..

Great Weekend, Everyone seemed to love the new direction and jumps on the Advanced track. Best of all no major crashes !!!!! Still have some fine tuning to do this week. Looking forward to everyone checking it out !!!!
