good luck with that man, thats what I plan on doing. Im also not the "school type" so I plan on going to boces next year (11th grade in highschool) and getting a credit in macanics. Also to prepare for a macanics college, possibly lincon tech, or some sort.

I want to open up my own shop too. Im only a 10th grader in highschool so I got a few more years to think about it.

I would love to open my own quad shop but I just don't see any money in it. Ive been a "mechanic" for some time now and guy's I'm net here to tell you what to do with your life but if I had it to do all over again I would not be turning wrenches for a living. It makes you old before your time. You hands never come clean. You spend a "fortune" in tools. But that's just my opinion.

I have friends that make 200.000 plus a year.... It all depends on what you can sell!

The hands thing is very easily handled... GLOVES !!

As long as it's not called " Rocken Racing" I'll be happy . Actually I'm just getting the finishing Legal Papers for the rights to that name done right now .

I'll be opening up the shop in aprox . 2 years when i'm done college . Hope everythign works out great for you .

I also want to open up shop some day. But not to work on engines and stuff. I want to build race ready quads and sell them as cheap as possible, and also be a dealer for alot of the aftermarket companys. And if i can find a good ATV mechanic then i will let him take care of the motors cause i always tend to screw something up. And i also want to build a nice MX track and possibly an XC track right buy the shop so it wont be just a shop, it will be a "Hang Out"
