Are you sure its street legal. Does it have a tag and a street use title?

Is it electric start? I had a wr400f that although was a dual sport was not street legal. Also it was a kick start and was a beast to start as there is a whole sequence of events that have to take place before it will start. I ended up selling it because I hated it. I love the quad and would never go back to riding a dirt bike.

Only way you shouldnt be able 2 start a 450 is if your like 120 pounds. I have no problem getting one 2 start. And tuff starting is a sign of tight valves.

Didnt say it was hard to start, there is just a sequence that you have to go through......hold the compression release down while kicking it three times. Then release the compression release. Then kick it till the find the compression stroke. Then let the kicker all the way up. Then push the compression release while slowly kicking the bike over. Then release the release the lever and kick it like heck. Hopefully it starts on the first try. If not hate it for you. Of course if its warm then you only do the last sequence starting from finding the compression stroke.
Now if you have both hotcams in there then you can forget about the compression release but the other stuff still goes.
I believe this is the way it says to start it in the manual.
