I know everyone has there own opinion, but i was just wondering what everyone else thought. Is there any really good ones for low end torque?? I want a good one that has a nice fit and finish, will last a long time, just stuff like that. I was looking into the HMF???

I have the HMF on my 525 IRS. Good solid value pipe. You'll be happy with it, but for a little more cash you could have the CT Racing pipe. It seems to be one of the preferred choices for very tunable power. Check it out!

I run the 4.1 on my 525 IRS, I realy like it, the fit and finish is perfect, and it runs great from the bottom to the top. But I realy like what it did to the top, I also run the JD jetting kit and I also opened up the air box by drilling some holes and covering them with some foam and velcro. It works great. It has great explosive power from the bottom to the top and climbs like no other.
Befor I made any changes I dropped a tooth on the front, but sence I made those changes I went back to stock gearing.

ok when you did the changes to the air box were did you drill th e holes? do you have the lid removed? Its just this quad is so new to me! I just installed a dynojet kit in mine, its a stage 2. it said stock exhaust with lid removed, or with a slip on, either works. I found a little bit of a difference.

just remeber whatever pipe you put on dont expect a increase until you put a better airintake system on.

I drilled 4 holes 1.25", on each side and the back and bottom, and I left the lid on. I then put velcro around the holes and took some foam about .5" thick and stuck to the velcro on the inside of airbox. keep in mind the IRS and S model air boxes are different, if I had the S model I would get the Darrel Rath airbox.

The Muzzys exhaust looks nice but ive had some issues had to send the original back and looks like the 2nd pipe is going back to.. The 1st one had a bad bend in the midpipe and it rubbed on my airbox and well ended up melting it somewhat, and this 2nd pipe the factory clamp still doest clamp the head and midpipe but muzzys swears it does i have to hose clamps on it now and still have a slight exhaust leak.. But it does look nice and sounds pretty good, id rather spend 20$ and get the CT racing though

You know you have to use that ~1/4" thick steel wool gasket between the head and mid, right?

yeah i bought a new 1 and the pipe still isnt fitting right, and even with that gasket it still doesnt change the fact the factory clamp doesnt tighten down enough to even put pressure on the 2 pipes i can almost slide the stock clamp off when its tightened all the way down

Im rocking a full stainless MUZZY, and have no problems with it.

Great quality pipe, and good all round power.

The HMF is a great pipe for the money, and is hard to pass up.

it looks like every one likes the muzzy pipe. I'll take a look at that one. I really like the HMF side mount. Whats everyone opinion on the center mount versus side mount???

If you want more space for intake mods, go side mount. If not, the center looks cooler IMO
