Are Shock Reservoirs necessary for my type of riding?

I am looking at getting a new set of 400ex Triple Rate Elka shocks for my 300. My big question is do I really need Reservoirs on the front shocks? I do not race or jump the quad, just mostly fast trails. The shocks I am looking at are Preload adjustment only. There is a pretty big price difference so that is why I am wondering. Thanks

if you never plan on racing, you probably wont ever need the additional fluid offered by the resevoir. The rec series elka is a big upgrade over the stock 400ex front shocks.
