Nice Kill! Is it same to assume that his Raptor is stock?

Wait til he gets the Yoshi on there. Guy we ride with just put a full Comp Yoshi and it is awesome and added a lot of power.

pipeing a raptor adds around 10 hp. Yamaha down tunes big time. After the yushi you will pull away forsure. unless you forget to rejet. I remember when i took the spark arester off my cousins rapturd, made a big difference.

Yeah - it's amazing how detuned Yamaha makes that Raptor - just putting a full pipe/header system on there and getting a decent K&N clamp/on filter + jet kit makes a huge difference in power.........pretty cheap power gains, too - considering! :D

Yep my neighbor just did the Full Pipe/K&N setup and I get dusted real bad now, but my Motor is still stock!

I still don't know if this is believable or not. Sounds like a Honda fairy tale to me.

OK so I have now signed up to this Honda forum so froglicker ( I mean frogburner) and dill rod ( I mean Hot Rod) can now quit raggin on me about being some other guy. Hot Rod claimed he recognized my keystrokes, makes you wonder what he's been strokin. Just jokin.

even though i love hondas, and would never give one up for a yamaha...... i find this extremely hard to believe

there is no way a stock 398cc engine is gonna beata 660cc engine
unless the guy riden thr raptor dont know how to shift rite and rite off the start shifted into neutral and then went to second and the 400 was already gone

397cc (yeah, I'll shut up now...hehe) they have a 406 and a 416, so it is a different story.

I believ you guys 100% . I was consistently beating raptors up comp hill in Pismo this weekend with a x-6 pipe, FCR 39mm carb and a K&N filter. It was alwase a close race but depending on who got the best jump that was who would win. On flat drag races they would pull away pretty hard by the time I hit 4th gear though. Raptors top speed is pretty impressive.
