View Full Version : k&n lid vs EHS lid

anyone running a k&n power lid . i see alot of you guys are using EHS lids . just wondering if there is a big difference. is there better air flow with the outer wear or the k&n . comments?

i would bet the k &n would flow more air but i use the ehs because it sheds water and sand is alot less likely to stick to it and plug it or get through it and ruin my motor. if your running mx then it would be ok but trails or xc or dunes i wouldnt think the k&n would be the one to use.

I have the K&N lid off Ebay for $60 and it has been great. I wanted the EHS since it was more popular but it was going to run me about $100 and I figured under the seat who will know. Anyway I run trails, etc and with a UNI and Outerwears and it has been flawless. Just went to clean the filter tonight and the top of the K&N looked filthy, but the filter was clean as can be. Don't know if the K&N filters that well or the combination of the Outerwears and K&N lid but worked great.

I have a K&N lid and I could tell a big difference and would go with it anytime.
