Every time i put a 20 amp fuse in the fuse cluster under the seat it just blows straight away. Ive checked the purple wire that rubs on the blot head and its fine. And i cant find a short in the wiring harness at all. Any ideas for anything else i can check?!

look for corrosion in all of your connectors, also, make sure the battery box support hasn't broken, and shorted out the solenoid.
If you have an 08 there was an update to the fuse size, try a 25 and see if that does not solve the problem. If it does then you know it's not a short or anything just some surges, resistance from old equipment. I seen one 08 guy ran fine for a long time then all the sudden started blowing them, bumped them up and fixed the prob.
