View Full Version : need advice for looking for an exhaust

I just found out my motor builder is not giving me a pipe and i need to know what kind of pipes are good quality and work good for a built motor..it isnt crazy overhauled but it has some things done to it..

The main thing is i am on a budget!!!!!!!
i dont hav a lot of money and i will b running a stock pipe...not good!

they r too expensive...a sparks is 500 and a dasa is 550 for the cheaper one

All the good pipes are in that range.
I think Rossier is the cheapest new of all the top exhausts.

Your best bet is to get a used exhaust for around $300 shipped in the forsale section of the forums.

A HMF or a MOTOWORKS SR4, full system is 399 on ebay shipped.

Thats funny you have more than a few grand in mods and so
forth and 5 bills is to expensive for an Exhaust..........

Can't blame him, I don't want to spend anymore money on my bike either. lol

haha..we actually got a great deal on those shocks..but we never could hav got them if we paid full price..haha yes i am on a very tight budget after the full suspension and motor..haha...i hav 200 left..its all been the sponsors paying for everything...so if all the top exhausts r going for about 5 then i will sav up and manage to get probly a sparks.

With the engine work u have go for the Sparks big core.
Its an extra $100bux though if u buy new.
So prolly better off with a Dasa or Rossier.

on sparks web site they have an exhaust for 500 i will probably get that

I would keep my eye out in the for sale forums on this site and ebay for sure....you can get what you want for much less IF you are patient and wait for the right deal to come along....a used pipe isnt all that bad to me (especially if you are trying to stay within a budget) maybe just some new packing and ready to go......
