400EX plastic on a 300EX

I wanted to know if it would be possible to put the 400 on the 300. I guess where there is a will there is a way but I would guess some modifications would need to be done. Has anyone doen this and how difficult/involved would it be. Thanks.

all you have to do is cut the gas cap hole bigger on the 400 plastic
