450R swingarm modification

I know most people are doing this on the 86/87 frame.
My question is which swingarm the 04/05 or the 06 + is closest to the length of the 86-87 arm. I know the 86/7 swingarm is longer than the 88-89 and the 450R swingarm 04-05 is shorter than 06-07
I just wanted to know how they measured up against each other?

i thought i read that the 04/05 was about the same length as the 88/89 and the 06 up was the length of an 86/87

the the stock 450r linkage is to short, there is a thread on 3 wheeler forums that had this same question and someone made it work. I'll see If I can find the thread.

just lengthen the 450r linkage. will be around 30-50mm from memory but you will need to measure from your swingarm to the grab bar to set the ride height correctly
