Well the crf450 is much easier to kick then the yz426. I think the "No Engine Brake" Might have something to do with it. I heard kicking a crf450 was extremely lite and the yz426 was really tuff. That was one main complaint on the yz426 but the new yz450 is like the crf450. :huh

If you go to ThumperTalk.com and search for starting procedures, you'll come up with about 1k+ topics. Both the 426 and 400's have a little trick to starting. But lately there is a new cam for them....they get what the 400ex already has...compression release for the exhaust cam which makes starting those ugly yammas alot easier.

The first time i started one was when I bought one to rip the engine out. The guy explained how to do it. and i could start it on the second kick. People that say the are way harder to start then crf450's must be complainers. cause the last time i checked easier to kick doesn't mean shiznit once your out racing. Also. If you cut the little light blue wire coming from the cdi, it makes starting alot easier.

And let me guess, youve never started either of the bikes, right? Dont lie. Alot of guys on here hear somethign once then go off repeating it everywhere as fact. I would say out of the 3 the yz450 would be easiest to start. But i dont know for sure because i dont own all three of them or even one.
