Filter and are box question.

i have a k&n filter with outer wears, can i run without a lid on my box or not? and if i can does it make a noticeable difference in the performance?

You can, just make sure you check it after each ride and keep it clean. Obviously don't go mudding lol. But it made a fairly noticeable difference for my quad, not leaps and bounds but a little more responsive. One of those cheap little things to get your 400 to feel like a 450 lol.
