hi i was thinking about buying a lock out clutch and the cover.
do you need a extended kickstart shaft for this?

if your smoking clutches easy, you should upgrade to the FZR1000 clutches. a lock out isnt gonna do you much good until about 80+hp.

well i am away to buy a cub moter and 4 or 7 mill stroker and
my stock banshee clutch is crap so i am going to buy a lock out clutch but dont no if i have to get an extended kickstart shaft

no the stock kicker will work, just need clutch and cover.

that is correct stock kick starter will work. You might check into the Gigot Racing Slingshot lockup which is cheaper than a normal lockup and it is easier to ride in the dunes.

I don't run a lockup, I have a JSR 9 disc that works great. It uses the better fiber plates and it holds 125.00 HP before slipping, only drawback is the price that is why I suggest the slingshot. Check out his site and give Kevin a call and he can hook you up with the slingshot.
