300 ex dead??

I recently gave my friend my old 300 ex and he has been driving it for about three weeks. He is not the best although i don't know if that had anything to do with it. The other day he was riding down the road and it just shut off, it has gas and tries to turn over but it won't start. There was no smoke or anything. Any help on what is wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

spark plug probably.....bikes need 3 things to run...fuel spark and air so if you have fuel its ether spark or air :D

I found a common problem on 3 300ex's so far, both of mine included. On the 9 pin (i believe) connector at the front part of the frame, a lot of corrosion builds up in there. Same thing happened to both of mine. Ran fine and then just dies and wouldn't start. Has fuel, compression, timing, but no spark. Found that the corrosion stopped the cdi and coil from getting power. Check it out, could be the fix.
