Jump across the tow red wires and if the starter spins then it time to replace the solenoid.

There should be two large red wires hooked to the solenoid. If the battery has juice and you can take a wire or screwdriver and get it to touch across both wires then the starter should kick over. If there is not enough juice then it will not kick it over and the battery is dead.
I will spark when you do this so be careful. It wont hurt anything though as I have had to do this to old cars plenty of times.

ohk, so i took my truck key : ) and put it between the poles on the noid, and it turns over. And i try to start it with the button as one last glimpse of hope, and it just buzzes. So im assuming that i need a new sylinoid.

Yup you need a new one. It is spell "solenoid" though. It looks like the part is 66 bucks from honda but you should be able to get it cheaper on ebay.

Tighten the connnections first. Both battery terminals and both solenoid posts. This has happened to me on two occasions. I thought the solenoid was bad. Turned out being just a loose connection. And honestly they weren't THAT loose. Doesn't take much.

It could still be your solenoid. I have had them only work for me on warm days, so in the summer I would forget about it till it started to cool off then it would quit again. I would go and get a new one just in case it does it again. That way you will have a spare and wont be pull starting the thing.
