its not even a little bit of a ktm. ktm builds the motor but the motors are different designs between the sx/xc and the 450mxr. any more stupid comments you can come up with this week? your on a roll.

how much do you really know about it? nothing as you prove everytime you post about it. if your calling it a ktm because it has a ktm motor in it then you cant stop calling the ds450 a canam because they don't make the motor rotax does. the f250s and 350s with diesels in em are now internationals instead of fords. the polaris outlaw 405/525 is no a more a ktm then my left nut.

The 450 KTMxc and the Outlaw 450 are the same engine. I know a guy who had both and put BB in them and said they were identicle.

I was simply stating they are about the same thing , different plastics and badge.

different geometry, different shocks, different parts they are in no way the same thing at all. as for the guy who said they are the same engine i pit with a factory sponsored polaris team at the races who will gladly tell you otherwise. 525 engine between the outlaw and the xc may be the same that i'm not sure about but the 450 motors are different.

I don't know what to tell you. The internals of both are the same. Clutching, piston, cam, head, crank, there both the same. And it's the same with the 525. I have buddies who go to the KTM dealer and order parts of XC models for there Outlaw. Everything bolts right up.

could you be anymore of a misinformed ahole? as a matter of fact i love my outlaw and would reccomend one to anyone. don't hate on it just because your to much of a b**** to try something new. it is purely a fact that the outlaw is not a ktm, ktm builds the motor which they did not even design themselves. there may be parts that interchange but they are not the same motor and i can introduce you to someone who has built plenty of outlaws if you venture to the next neatv race.

i just voteed for ktm beacuaes the outlaw 450 wasnt on there i really ride a 2008polaris450mxr and i dont no what yo uguys are arguing about but they are defenetly different the ktm is better. but for the price i couldnt be mroe happy with my outlaw

HAHA YOU FAIL! It blew up 5 times in four monthes? that means it was rebuilt atleast 4 and It take's a long while to get an engine rebuilt....... Please tell me Because I've never heard of a repair shop with such a great turn around time? :devil: extreme***gster just shut up. You argue with EVERYONE!
