Attention Zoning Board:

This email is in reference to the meeting #4 on the proposed Atlantic Off-Highway Vehicle Park at Thomas Avenue in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey being held on September 9, 2009.

As an ATV rider who lives in NJ it is sometimes frustrating our State does not have places to ride like our neighboring states such as PA and NY have. This could be a good opportunity to bring additional income to Little Egg Harbor. If you research the popular riding areas in other states you will see the following:

1) Income revenue from requiring a permit to ride in Little Egg Harbor
2) Increase revenue of local business
3) Increased relationship between local residents and visitors to Little Egg Harbor

To address the concerns of the ATV’s:
1) Required a pipe restriction to reduce noise
2) Require the park to maintain trails to preserve the environment
3) By requiring a permit a rider has to be registered and insured- this will eliminate unwanted riffraff.

Thank you,

done.

we def need something new in this area for the normal rec riders. not everyone can or wants to ride mx. if we dont get places like this soon, the atv community in NJ will suffer.
