How do you adjust the throttle pull

I read somewere that the stock throttle cable only pulls 75% of the carb. I put a twist throttle on my 400ex and I was wondering how to check if I am getting 100% of the pull? Thanks

look to the left of the thumb throttle, you'll see a cable that has a boot, pull the rubber boot back, there is the screw. turn it outwards (to the front of the quad) and it will tighten up

If you want to be sure it is opening all the way just pull the airbox off and look inside the carb when you twist the throttle that way you will be able to see if it opens up all the way.

I played guessing games with it until I pulled the airbox off, Just take the box off it is the easy way to do it

I just tightened the cable until there was no more play in it.
