Allright, so here I am going to do my oil change, I warm the quad up, do all that stuff, and I go to loosen the bolt on the bottom of the oil resevoir (is that the right word for it, tank in the front) and I twist the wrench, and oil pours out from the tank......supposed to be normal....but its not.......the oil poured out from the bottom of the tank not where I loosened the bolt, I pulled on the bolt and it came out, along with the part of the oil tank it was screwed into........My quad is still on warranty but I'm not sure if this is covered, last time I did the oil I tightened all the bolts with a torque wrench so it wasn't over tightened.

My question is if anyone has had this problem before, if you think its covered by warranty, and finally if all else fails whats a new oil tank worth............

Thanks guys.......oy!

This not uncommon.... I don't know about warranty, but definatly check... If not, aftermarket tanks are $200-$250

Yes...but by a VERY competent welder. It's not something you want done half@ssed.

You could JB weld it for cheap. My buddy has been running a Jb welded tank for over a yr.

And nexttime you do an oil change, make sure the motor is hot.
